Who knew that banana pancakes with cardamom would be popular in Switzerland? Sounds good to me too. It was given to me by my friend Shauna who got it from her hubby's Swiss aunt who lives in a Canton in Switzerland (Shauna was't sure which) .

Ingredients For swiss banana, cardamom, chocolate pancakes

1 cflour
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
3/4 tspcardamom or to taste
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspsalt

1egg, beaten
-
1 cmilk
-
2 Tbspvegetable oil
-
2ripe bananas, mashed (leave a few chunks)

2 - 4 ozgood swiss chocolate ( lindt in easy to find)

enough cream to to thin the chocolate to your desired sauce consistensy
How To Make swiss banana, cardamom, chocolate pancakes

1Combine all dry ingredients.

2In separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil and bananas.

3Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be a little lumpy.

4Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.

5Pour or scoop batter onto pan, using about 1/4 cup for each pancake.

6Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides.

7Gently melt the chocolate then add enough cream to make your sauce and pour over the pancakes for a wonderful treat.
