Ingredients For baked apple pancake

1 1/2 cmilk

3 Tbspsugar

1 tspvanilla

1/2 tspsalt

3/4 tspcinnamon

1/2 cunsalted butter

2 lggranny smith apples

3 Tbspbrown sugar, packed
How To Make baked apple pancake

1Preheat oven to 425F.

2Place the eggs, milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon in a blender jar. Set aside.

3Put butter in a 9x13 Pyrex baking dish, then into oven to melt. Careful not to let it burn. Remove from oven.

4Peel apples and slice them thinly. Arrange the apples in the baking pan, over the melted butter. Put the pan back in the oven until the butter sizzles.

5Meanwhile, blend the ingredients in the blender jar until the batter is smooth. When the sizzling apples come out of the oven, pour the batter slowly over the apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

6Return pan to the oven for 20 minutes. Test for doneness with a sharp knife in the center. If it comes out clean, the pancake is done.

7Cut in serving pieces and serve immediately. Maple syrup if desired.
