Ingredients For the best pecan french toast ever!
- THE NIGHT BEFORE:

2loaves of french bread

8 lgeggs

2 chalf and half

1 cmilk

2 Tbspsugar

1 tspvanilla extract

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspground nutmeg
- THE MORNING OF: TOPPING INGREDIENTS

3 stickbutter, softened

1 1/2 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 1/2 cchopped pecans

3 Tbsplight corn syrup
-
3/4 tspground cinnamon

3/4 tspground nutmeg
How To Make the best pecan french toast ever!

1The Night Before... Slice French bread into 20 slices, 1" each. Arrange slices in a generously buttered 9x13" flat baking dish in 2 rows. Overlap the slices. In a large bowl, combine the eggs, half and half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and beat with a rotary beater or whisk until blended, but not too bubbly. Pour mixture over the bread slices, making sure all slices are covered evenly with the milk-egg mixture in between the slices. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.

2The Next Morning... Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine topping ingredients and spread evenly between and over bread. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve with warm syrup. Enjoy!
