Ingredients For superfood oatmeal

  • 1 c
    oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    chia seeds
  • 1 tsp
    hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp
    ground flaxseed
  • 1 pinch
    mace
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    milk, whole
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make superfood oatmeal

    Thoroughly mix all dry ingredients into a bowl (to prevent clumping and for even distribution of flavors).

    Bring butter, water, and milk to a simmer over medium heat on stovetop.

    Add mixed dry ingredients to liquid. Stir.

    Bring to a slight boil and reduce heat to low. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    After 20 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
