Ingredients For scrapple

  • 2 can
    chicken broth (reg or fat free)
  • 2 c
    ground sausage--crumbled & drained
  • salt & pepper to tsaste
  • 1 c
    white grits
  • 1 bunch
    knox gelatin

How To Make scrapple

    HEAT CHICKEN BROTH TO BOIL. ADD SALT & PEPPER

    ADD 1 C GRITS (STIR TO AVOID LUMPS)AND STARTS TO THICKEN. POUR IN SAUSAGE,, MIX. ADD GELATIN (DO NOT USE THE WHOLE BOX--AS IT WILL MAKE IT TOO THICK) USE TRIAL & ERROR METHOD

    POUR IN 9X13 PYREX PAN. LET SET CAN BE REFRIDGERATED IF DESIRED BEFORE SERVING. I WOULD EAT IT WARM MYSELF.

    POUR SYRUP OVER SERVING BEFORE EATING IF DESIRED.
