My husband loves this. It reminds us of Hawaii. We think the best syrup to use is homemade coconut or pineapple.

Ingredients For paradise french toast

4large eggs

114 oz. can coconut milk

2/3 cuppineapple preserves

1 tsp.vanilla extract
-
4 cupscornflakes, crushed
-
1 cupfinely chopped macadamia nuts

1 cupangel flake coconut
-
8slices fairly dry bread
-
butter for frying
How To Make paradise french toast

1Mix corn flake crumbs, coconut, and chopped nuts in a pie pan.

2Mix eggs, coconut milk, preserves, and vanilla in a bowl large enough for dipping the bread.

3Dip bread in egg mixture, then in coconut mixture. Fry in the butter on each side until golden brown. Serve with your favorite syrup.
