Ingredients For old fashion pancakes

  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    white sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 lg

  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter

How To Make old fashion pancakes

  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

    In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter.

    Make a well in the center. Pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  • Mix until smooth.

    Mix until smooth. If needed, slowly add more milk until it's a pancake batter consistency.
  • Add batter to a hot skillet.

    Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
