Ingredients For mexican cornmeal

  • 2 c
    milk
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    cornmeal
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make mexican cornmeal

  • 1
    Bring milk, water and salt to a boil.
  • 2
    Whisk in cornmeal.
  • 3
    Add butter, whisk about 4 minutes, until thickened.
  • 4
    Serve in bowls, and top with your choice of black beans, fresh salsa, and/or grated cheddar.
