This is the recipe Ma Burris made when she made coffee cake. I have yet to meet a coffee cake I don't like, but this one was always amazingly good with all the strussel and frosting!

1 pkgduncan hines yellow cake mix

2 Tbspoil

4serving size vanilla instant pudding

1 1/3 cwater

2eggs
- STRUSSEL:

1/2 cflour
-
1/2 cbrown sugar

2 Tbspmelted butter

2 tspcinnamon
- FROSTING:

3/4 cpowdered sugar

1 Tbspmilk
- CINNAMON FROSTING:

1/2 cvanilla frosting
-
1 tspmargarine
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
How To Make ma's coffee cake

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat cake mix, pudding, oil, water and eggs for 2 min on med speed. Spread 3/4 batter into a greased 9x13. Cover with 2/3 strussel and remaining batter, then remaining strussel. Bake until toothpick comes out clean (look at the cake mix directions for an idea of the time).

2Mix powdered sugar and milk, drizzle over cake when cool.

3Heat frosting, 1 tsp margarine and cinnamon over med heat, drizzle over cake also.
