Ingredients For low carb biscuts & gravy
- BISCUITS

1/4 cmelted butter

4 lgeggs

1/3 ccoconut flour

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking powder

1 cshredded cheddar cheese
- SAUSAGE GRAVY

1 lbbulk breakfast sausage

1 cchicken broth
-
3/4 cheavy cream
-
1/2 tspxanthan gum
-
1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspblack pepper
How To Make low carb biscuts & gravy

1Preheat oven to 400. Liine a baking pan with parchment, silicone baking mat, or spray lightly with cooking spray. Set aside.

2To make biscuits, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to combine. Don't overwork dough. Scoop 3 T. dough onto prepared pan with an ice cream scoop or large spoon. Makes 9 biscuits.

3Bake biscuits in oven for 15 minutes, or just until golden brown on top, while making gravy.

4To make sausage gravy, in a large skillet, brown and crumble the sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through. Add the chicken broth, cream, xanthan gum and stir. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Continue to cook until gravy is thick. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. Serve over split biscuits. 1 biscuit and 1/6th of gravy is 3 net carbs each.
