Following a keto lifestyle, I got hungry one evening and wanted something filling, and this is what I came up with. 2 french toasts with thick bacon and cheese, dipped in sf syrup, either maple or blueberry, for that sweet & salty flavor we all know and love.

2 slice0 carb bread (i use aldi wheat)

2eggs

2 Tbspbutter

3 slicethick sliced bacon, precooked

1 slicecheese (i used colby jack)

2 Tbspsugar-free maple syrup or blueberry
How To Make keto monte cristo breakfast sandwich

1Heat nonstick skillet to medium heat. Place butter in skillet and allow to melt.

2Beat eggs in a shallow dish and coat both sides of first slice of bread; Place in melted butter and brown on both sides; remove to plate and repeat with other slice of bread, leaving this piece in the skillet. Now you have 2 pieces of french toast.

3Top french toast in skillet with cheese slice and bacon slices. Top with other slice of french toast; Turn over to melt cheese and heat bacon. Remove to plate and serve with sf syrup
