Ingredients For janice's buttermilk pancakes

1 1/4 csifted all purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda

pinch of salt

1 lgegg, beaten
-
1 1/4 cbuttermilk

1 tspvanilla extract
-
2 Tbspbutter, melted
-
1 Tbspsugar
How To Make janice's buttermilk pancakes

1Sift together the sifted flour, baking powder,baking soda and salt.

2In a separate bowl, combine the egg, buttermilk and vanilla extract. Add to the flour mixture, stirring only until smooth.

3Blend in the melted butter and sugar.

4Cook on a medium-hot lightly greased grill or greased electric skillet at 350 degrees. Use about 1/4 cup for each pancake. Drop the batter onto the griddle.

5Cook until the pancakes are brown on side and around the edges, then flip and brown the other side.
