These are healthy and good tasting. I never purchase granola bars from the store any more because they are so easy to make, taste better and you get more for your money. I also like that I control the ingredients. I hope you enjoy these.

Ingredients For granola bars

2 cwhole oats

1/2 cbrown sugar

1/4 cwheat germ

1/4 cground flax seed
-
1 tspcinnamon

1 cwhole wheat flour

3/4 tspsalt
-
1/4-1/2 choney
-
1 lgegg, beaten
-
1/2 cbutter, melted
-
2 tspvanilla
-
optional chopped raisins or nuts
How To Make granola bars

1Mix together oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flax, cinnamon, flour, raisin or nuts & salt.

2Combine all wet ingredients in small bowl then add to the dry mixture.

3Pat with a greased spatula into a greased 8"x8" square pan.

4Bake at 350' until edges turn golden.

5Cool about 5 minutes then cut into squares.
