YUM! This is a great pancake! And the buttermilk syrup is to die for! Is wonderful on waffles and french toast too and the syrup keeps for weeks in the fridge.

1 c2% milk

1 call-purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt

2 Tbspbutter, melted
- BUTTERMILK SYRUP

1 1/2 csugar

3/4 cbuttermilk
-
1/2 cbutter
-
2 Tbspcorn syrup
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
confectioners sugar
How To Make german pancake recipe

1In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, flour and salt. Cover and process until smooth.

2Pour the butter into an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Add the batter and bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

3Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the first five syrup ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Dust pancake with confectioners sugar and serve immediately with the syrup.
