Blue Ribbon Recipe

French apple raisin breakfast sandwiches are a nice twist on French toast. Cinnamon-raisin bread is the base for this French toast. It soaks up the egg mixture and crisps up when griddled. Apple pie filling is sandwiched in between each slice of bread. We loved biting into the French toast sandwich and tasting the juicy bursts of apple. These breakfast sandwiches are fun for a weekend or holiday breakfast.
