I got really sick about two years ago and have to keep as much fat out of my diet as possible. This is such a yummy granola and a lot less fat than store bought granola when you make your own!! I eat it as a snack, dry... on frozen yogurt... or as a breakfast with milk!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Ingredients For favorite granola

  • 3 c
    oats, quick cooking
  • 1 c
    almonds
  • 3/4 c
    coconut
  • 6 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 6 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    water, warm
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • dried fruit

How To Make favorite granola

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • 2
    Mix all ingredients except the dried fruit together in large bowl. Pour it onto a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet and bake for an hour and fifteen minutes. Stir at least twice during the baking time. Let it cool completely and add your choice of dried fruit or leave without if you don't like the fruit. Store in an airtight container.
