Ingredients For crumb-topped baked french toast

2eggs, beaten

1 Tbspbutter

1/2 tspalmond extract

5 ozcan evaporated milk

1 tspcinnamon

1/3 cwater
-
1 1/3 csugar
- CINNAMON SYRUP

1/4 cbutter, melted

1 ccorn flake crumbs
-
6 slicetexas toast or thickly sliced bread

1/2 tspvanilla
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2/3 cwhite corn syrup
How To Make crumb-topped baked french toast

1Combine eggs, milk, salt and vanilla; mix well.

2Dip bread slices into egg mixture; coat both sides with crumbs.

3Place on well-greased cookie sheet.

4Drizzle melted butter over crumb coated bread.

5Bake at 450 for 10 minutes.

6To make syrup, combine sugar, water, corn syrup and cinnamon in saucepan.

7Bring to boil; cook 2 minutes.

8Remove from heat; add milk, flavoring and bacon or sausage as desired.
