Ingredients For creamy cream cheese grits

  • 1 qt
    milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    granulated garlic powder with parsley
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly ground white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    tabasco
  • 1 c
    quick cooking grits
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 4 oz
    cheddar cheese, cut into cubes

How To Make creamy cream cheese grits

    In a large saucepan over medium-high heat combine, milk, garlic, salt, pepper and Tabasco.

    Heat, stirring slowly and constantly until milk just comes to a boil.

    Add grits and stir to mix. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook until grits are thick and creamy, 5-6 minutes.

    Add cheese and stir until they are completely melted. Serve warm.
