This scones are so moist and tender. Most scones I have tried are dry, you will really enjoy these and they are so easy to make.

Ingredients For cranberry orange scones

2 call purpose flour
-
7 Tbspsugar
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
1/3 tspsalt
-
1 Tbsporange peel, grated
-
1/3 ccold butter, cubed
-
1 cdried cranberries
-
1/4 corange juice
-
1/4 chalf and half
-
1egg
- ORANGE GLAZE
-
1/2 cpowdered sugar
-
1 Tbsporange juice
How To Make cranberry orange scones

1Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

2Add grated orange peel and butter to sifted flour. Cut butter into the flour with two forks until well blended. Set aside.

3In small bowl, combine cranberries, orange juice, half and half, and the slightly beaten egg. Stir until blended.

4Add to dry ingredients, stir until soft dough forms. Do not over mix or it will toughen the scones.

5On lightly floured surface, gently knead dough 6 to 8 times. Form dough into 1" thick circle or rectangle shape. Cut into 8 pieces.

6Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Brush tops of scones with either milk or half and half.

7Bake for 15 min only at 400 degree oven. As soon as you remove from oven, drizzle orange glaze over each scone.
