I love finding recipes that have very simple ingredients. I am not much for eating cereal with milk unless its Cheerios. I am more about eating cereal by the handfuls for snacks. So this appealed to me.

Ingredients For cranberry crunchies

  • CEREAL FIRST CHOICE FOR THE CRANBERRY CRUNCHIES
  • 1 box
    13 oz. cranberry almond crunch cereal
  • 1 can
    14 oz. sweet condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract
  • OR CEREAL 2ND CHOICE FOR BANANA CRUNCHIES
  • 1 box
    13 oz. banana crunch cereal
  • the sweet condensed milk & almond extract
  • OR CEREAL 3RD CHOICE FOR GREAT GRAIN CRUNCHIES
  • 1 box
    13 oz, great grain cereal
  • the sweet condensed milk & almond extract

How To Make cranberry crunchies

    Grease a FOIL-LINED pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2
    Combine the Cereal (of choice), Condensed Milk, & Extract. Lightly grease your hands & press into pan the cereal mixture. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    Cool 10 minutes & remove foil.

    Note: What with how manufacturers like to downsize their boxes & make us think we are getting the same amount of stuff..you might not be able to find a 13 oz. box of any cereal! My thinking is you want enough cereal to make the condensed milk & extract make for a nice to press into a pan FEEL by your hands and what you think. Hopefully there are still these sizes of cereal out there, cause I have had this recipe for eons.
