It is so good to fix for breakfast and my family loves it. It is so easy to fix it. They are so delicious and cheesy and tasty.

Ingredients For cheesy grits

  • 3 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    white or yellow grits
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground red pepper

How To Make cheesy grits

  • 1
    In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil over high heat. Add grits and cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture is thick. Remove from heat and add cheese and butter; stir until melted. Add remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. Serve immediately or place i a sprayed muffi tin and chill. Just before serving, heat in a preheated oven to 350 F. for 15 to 20 minutes.
