I sometimes serve these with dinner, instead of a potato..family loves them...this is about the only way I like grits..

1 cquick grits

1 tspsalt

1 stickbutter or margarine..i use butter

1/2 lbgrated sharp cheddar cheese

2eggs

1/4 cparmesan cheese

1 ccornflakes, i crush mine to consistency of bread crumbs
How To Make cheese grits

1preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x9 casserole dish, and set aside

2put grits into boiling water. and cook until thick; add butter and cheddar cheese. Cool. Add slightly beaten eggs. Place in casserole dish. Top with crushed cornflakes mixed with the parmesan cheese..Bake for 45 min..sometimes I add some chopped onions precooked also..

3Makes a great side dish, for dinner, something different than potatoes..or is always great for breakfast.
