This is the best crumb cake ever. I saw this in a magazine back in 1981. It's been a favorite ever since. I serve it warm with a little butter or cream cheese, and of course, a cup of coffee. Enjoy

1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 1/2 cgraham crackers crumbs

1/2 cbutter or margarine, softened

2/3 cgranulated sugar

2/3 cpacked light brown sugar

3eggs

1 tspvanilla
-
1 cbuttermilk

1 cchopped walnuts
How To Make cake just meant for coffee

1Mix together flour,baking powder,soda and salt. Mix with crumbs; set aside.

2In large bowl cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs one at a time and vanilla; beat till fluffy.

3And flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating just to blend. Stir in walnuts.

4Spread in greased 9- inch square pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
