Ingredients For banana/cream cheese stuffed french toast

6 lgeggs

8 ozcream cheese, room temperature

3 lgbananas, sliced

1/3 csugar

1/3 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

3 Tbspvanilla extract

3 Tbspcinnamon, ground

1/4 cmilk

10 slicetexas bread

5 ozyogurt, vanilla, greek

powdered sugar

How To Make banana/cream cheese stuffed french toast

1Place sliced bananas in a pan over med. heat. Add 1/2 of the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon. Stir until blended. Cook until bananas are soft but not mushy. Set aside.

2In a med. bowl, combine the cream cheese and yogurt. Blend until smooth. Fold in banana mixture into the cream cheese.

3Beat eggs, milk and the the other 1/2 of the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Egg wash should be nice and blended.

4To assemble the toast, take 1/3 cup. banana mixture and spread on toast. Ensure you distribute evenly. Place a second piece of toast on top. Dip in egg wash, both sides. Allow excess to drip off. Place on a pre-heated griddle and cook until golden brown. Slice and dust with powder sugar, syrup to taste.
