This was in a handwritten cookbook I inherited from my mother. They are very good, soft, tender and cinnamon-y.

Ingredients For bakery cinnamon rolls

  • 1 can
    pillsbury cinnamon rolls
  • 1/2 stick
    melted butter
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 - 1 1/2 pt
    heavy whipping cream

How To Make bakery cinnamon rolls

  • 1
    Place cinnamon rolls in a greased baking pan to fit the number of rolls. If you have an extra roll, pull it apart and put between the rolls in the pan.

    Pour the whipping cream over the rolls until it is 1/2 way up the rolls.

    Mix the butter, brown sugar and salt together, blending well. Pour over rolls.

    Cover tightly with foil and bake in a 350* oven for 45 minutes.

    Allow to cool a minute or two and then pour the icing that came with the rolls over top. Finish cooling and serve.
