Ingredients For bacon and sage potato cakes

  • 8 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 pkg
    (20 oz) shredded hash browns (if frozen, thaw and squeeze out water)
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced or use 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground sage or a small bunch of fresh chopped sage
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 c
    vegetable oil

How To Make bacon and sage potato cakes

  • 1
    in a large skillet, preheat oil. meanwhile, in large bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • 2
    measure out 1/2 cup of tater mix and carefully place in oil. use spatula to flatten out patties.

    cook until crispy and nicely browned. drain on paper towels.
