apple cinnamon couscous

I came up with this recipe one morning when I had a bunch of apples and some leftover couscous from the night before, it turned out so yummy. Great for camping!

Ingredients For apple cinnamon couscous

1 cwater

1 ccouscous, uncooked

3apples, cored and diced

1/4 cbrown sugar, packed

2 Tbspcinnamon

1/4 cbutter
-
1/2 cchopped pecans

1/4 craisins
How To Make apple cinnamon couscous

1Prepare couscous according to package directions.

2In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. In a medium bowl combine apples, brown sugar and cinnamon until apples are coated. Add apples to butter in pan.

3Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes or until apples are starting to get tender. Add pecans, cook a little longer. Add raisins and cooked couscous until combined. Top with additional brown sugar, if desired. Serve warm
