easy homemade sausage
This sausage is super easy to make and so easy to adjust to your own liking. I started with a basic recipe that I remember my granny doing and one of my aunts. I have made this more Italian by adjusting the spices and also a little sweet. Hope y'all enjoy. Try it for breakfast with some biscuits, gravy and some sweet cream butter :)

How To Make easy homemade sausage

1Now this is how I made mine. Mix the spices together in a small bowl. Sprinkle 1/2 in the bottom of a large bowl. Add the pork then sprinkle the remaining spices. Mix together well by pushing the spices toward the center of the pork and then flipping and doing the same with the spices from the bottom of the bowl. Do this a couple of times.

2You do not want to over work the pork because it will get sorta gummy like. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil into the pan, make a small test patty and cook. Taste. Adjust the spices if you want more in there.

3At this point, if you think you need more sage or one of the other spices add it, but remember, sage can get a little stronger as it sits in the food. I split mine into 1.5lb rolls so I could have another for a later time. Enjoy.

4***** IF YOU ARE GRINDING YOUR OWN PORK , YOU MAY NEED TO ADD SOME OIL TO THE MIX, I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH BECAUSE I BUY MY PORK ALREADY GROUND*****
