I'm a little picky about my breakfast sausage. I don't like it too spicy or with any unrecognizable flavors so I decided to start seasoning my own!

1 tspdried sage

1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/4 tspground thyme

1 pinchred pepper flakes (optional)
How To Make diy breakfast sausage

1In a smallish mixing bowl, combine the sage, salt, pepper, thyme, and crushed red pepper.

2Mix very throughly.

3Form into patties and pan fry for about five minutes on each side or cook and crumble for other dishes such as sausage gravy.
