My sister-in-law owned a B&B for many years in New Buffalo, Michigan. Recipes could not be given out as long as the Inn was in existance. It has since been sold and not being used as a B&B. This is a great brunch dish.

Ingredients For breakfast sausage ring

  • 2 lb
    lean pork sausage
  • 2 c
    apples, peeled and diced (use 1 1/2-2 cups depending on size of apple)
  • 2 c
    bread cubes, plain dry
  • 1/4 c
    onion, minced
  • 2 md
    eggs

How To Make breakfast sausage ring

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Press mixture into a bundt or tube pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Turn oven back to 350 degrees and continue baking an additional 45-50 minutes. Cool slightly before inverting.
