I found this recipe on the Food Network about 9 years ago. I have not made it until now and it is so wonderful. The fresh blueberries are the best but you can use frozen. Granite Steps is a Bed and Breakfast in Savannah Georgia. Make sure you have a hot cup of coffee or tea, even a cold glass of milk with this! This is a quick and easy recipe for just using a can of biscuits. Hope you enjoy it. As you notice in the picture, I made mine in a springform pan but don't attempt this because your butter will leak through!It was still good though.

112 ounce can buttermilk biscuits

1/2 c(1 stick) butter, melted

1 cquick-cooking rolled oats

1 1/2 cfresh or frozen blueberries

1preheat oven to 375 F. Generously grease a 9 inch square baking dish. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon and mix well with a fork. separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. cut each biscuit into quarters, and dip each piece in melted butter and coat with brown sugar mixture. arrange in a single layer in baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of oats.

2Combine blueberries and sugar in a bowl and toss to coat. Spoon over oats and biscuits and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of oats. Drizzle remaining melted butter on top. Bake for 20 mintues or until cake is golden brown and center is done (you may have to adjust your cooking time by a few more mintues, mine was about 10 more)Cool for 20 mintues. Serve warm.
