My kids never know what to call this when they see me eating it so we call it GOOP. I eat this almost every morning. The cottage cheese gives the yogurt something to "chew". Sometimes I eat it for snacks or dessert, great for the body & very tasty. Another tweaker recipe due to so many choices in flavors & styles of yogurt & berries, you can always mix it up for variety and the protein fills you up quick. If you need to gain weight, go with the full fat varieties. Need to lose, you may want to try the low or nonfat. Cinnamon has been found to be excellent for blood sugar issues & makes the whole experience dessert like..cobblerish... A tablespoon of sliced almonds or pecans adds another nutritional punch and a crunch as well.

Ingredients For goop - high protein / calcium breakfast

  • 1 c
    cottage cheese - your choice of variety
  • 4 oz
    = 1 small container -high quality flavored yogurt.
  • half cup favorite frozen or fresh berries
  • dash cinnamon

How To Make goop - high protein / calcium breakfast

    Mix cottage cheese & yogurt together in bowl

    If berries are frozen, defrost in microwave, add to above. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
