Ingredients For dutch apple rings

1 Tbspsugar

1 tspcinnamon

2apples, peeled and cored - sliced 1/4" thick

1/4 cflour

1/4 cmilk

1egg
-
1 tspbaking powder

pinch of salt

1 Tbsppowdered sugar

oil for frying
How To Make dutch apple rings

1Peel and core apples and slice into rings. Apple rings should be sliced 1/4 inch thick.

2Mix together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.

3Mix together flour, milk, egg, baking powder and salt - adding additional milk if too thick.

4Dredge apple rings in batter coating both sides and fry in a cast iron skillet -turning when first side is golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
