Ingredients For pesto toast with fried egg and parmesan

  • 4 slice
    Texas toast
  • 4 tsp
    basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 slice
    tomato
  • 1 c
    shaved Parmesan

How To Make pesto toast with fried egg and parmesan

    Toast the Texas toast. Set on 4 plates. Spread basil pesto on each slice.

    Add butter to a frying pan. Once melted, break eggs into the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook until whites are cooked, but the yolk is still runny.

    Place an egg on each piece of toast. Top with a slice of tomato and shaved Parmesan.
