Ingredients For perfectly poached egg on english w/provolone

a splsh vinegar

1english muffin

1 sliceprovolone cheese

salt and pepper
How To Make perfectly poached egg on english w/provolone

1Heat a pot of water with a few inches of water in it, add a splash of vinegar to the water.

2Now you don't want boiling water, you want very hot water, just to the point before simmer. Now turn down temp as not to bubble. If your water starts to boil just bring down the temp to blow boiling point.

3Break the egg into a small dish, now make a whirlpool in the pot with your spoon. Slide the egg into the middle of the whirlpool.

4Cook 3-4 minutes, remove w/slotted spoon, let drain on paper towel.

5Toast and butter your English muffin, add the slice of provolone, top with the poached egg and salt and pepper.
