When my daughter Noel was a little girl... she always asked me to make this for her... one year she had a birthday party sleep over and I made this for 65 kids!!! I now make this for my grandchildren while they are reading the book "Green Eggs and Ham" We love to play with our food!

Ingredients For green eggs and ham breakfast !

  • HAM
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    butter (for frying ham)
  • 6 12 slice
    ham
  • GREEN EGGS
  • 6-8 lg
    eggs (very well beaten)
  • 3 Tbsp
    water
  • 2 dash
    salt and white pepper
  • green food coloring to desired color
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter for cooking eggs

How To Make green eggs and ham breakfast !

  • Fry ham slices in skillet with a little butter.

    Melt butter in skillet and fry slices of ham.
  • Beaten eggs with water and green food coloring, poured into buttered skillet.

    Beat eggs well. Add water salt and pepper and food coloring. Beat together well.
  • Scramble the egg mixture over medium heat in skillet.

    Melt butter in skillet and add the beaten egg mixture.
  • Scrambled eggs and ham on a plate.

    Scramble the eggs over medium heat. (Don't over cook and dry out the eggs).
  • Fried ham and green eggs!

    Place cooked eggs and ham on plates!

    OPTIONAL: This can be served with buns or English Muffins for sandwiches, with waffles or pancakes, or just like the photo shows! Anyway you serve this is good!
