I sometimes make this for Christmas morning. It's such a treat for everyone.

Ingredients For egg and sausage casserole

6 slicebread, cubed

1 lbsausage, browned and drained

1 1/2 cshredded cheddar cheese

8eggs, beaten

2 cmilk
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make egg and sausage casserole

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan or baking dish.

2Cube bread and place evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with browned sausage then cheese. In medium bowl mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over ingredients in pan. Bake for 45 minutes until set. Cut into squares to serve.

3Note: This can be prepared the night before if desired. Cover and chill in refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking.
