Dutch babies make an easy weekend breakfast or brunch. I think of them as somewhere between a baked omelette and pancakes. Delicious with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Ingredients For dutch babies

  • 1 c
    whipping cream
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 9
    large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt to taste

How To Make dutch babies

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  • 2
    In a large bowl whip eggs, whipping cream and salt, until fluffy. Fold in flour.

    Pour mixture into four lightly buttered/oiled 9-inch cake pans.

    Bake at 450 degrees F - 15 to 20 minutes.

    Serve warm. Good with sliced seasonal berries or warmed fruit pie filling. yummy
