Ingredients For dashimaki tamago

  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    mirin
  • 6 Tbsp
    dashi stock
  • vegetable oil
  • sweet soy sauce for serving
  • kewpie mayo for serving

How To Make dashimaki tamago

    mix the eggs with the mirin and dashi

    Heat an 10 skillet or square pan if you have one. Place enough oil so eggs wont stick. Pour about 1/4 cup egg mixture into the bottom of the pan.Once it begins to set up gently roll it up and slide it to the back of the pan. Pour another 1/4 cup egg mixture in the pan and let some run under the rolled up egg. When that starts to set up begin with the already rolled up egg and roll again and repeat the process until all the eggs mixture is used.

    with wax paper or a sushi mat. Place the omelet on it and roll tight. Let sit for 2 minutes. unroll and serve drizzled with sweet soy sauce and Kewpie mayo
