Ingredients For crab and shrimp quiche

    9in. unbaked pie shell
  • 1/2 lb
    swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    crabmeat, fresh, or imitation works great
  • 1/2 c
    cooked plain shrimp (salad size is what i use
  • 1 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • dash
    pepper
  • dash
    red pepper
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    sherry wine

How To Make crab and shrimp quiche

    Place swiss cheese in unbaked pie shell, add the crab and shrimp.

    Mix together the half and half, eggs, flour, salt, melted butter, nutmeg,peppers and the sherry wine. Pour over the crab and cheese mixture.

    Bake at 450* for 7 minutes. reduce heat to 325* for 30 to 40 minutes. watch carefully and cool before cutting to serve. cut small wedges for tea, or big for dinner..
