Ingredients For breakfast burritos

  • 8 oz. bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup hashed brown potatoes with onions
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • ground pepper to taste
  • 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • picante sauce, optional

How To Make breakfast burritos

  • 1
    Brown sausage in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Mix hashed brown potatoes and water in a bowl and mix well. Let stand, covered, for 15 minutes; drain. Mix hash browns, and water in bowl. Mix well. Let stand, covered, for 15 minute; drain. Add sausage, eggs, salt and pepper and mix well. Wrap tortillas tightly in foil. Warm in 350 oven for 10 minutes or until completely heated. Melt butter in large skillet. Add egg mixture. Cook over low heat until eggs are set, stirring gently. Spread 1/2 cup of the egg mixture down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp. of the cheese. Roll up to enclose the filling. Put seam side down on serving platter. Spoon picante sauce over the tortillas. Serves 6 Secret Ingredients
