Ingredients For berry and cream stuffed french toast

  • 2/3 c
    whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    chopped strawberries
  • 2 Tbsp
    strawberry jam
  • 8 slice
    cinnamon-flavored bread
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk, i used low-fat
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

How To Make berry and cream stuffed french toast

    In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, strawberries and jam. Spread onto 4 bread slices. Top w/ remaining bread slices.

    In a deep shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla together. Dip each sandwich into egg mix to coat.

    Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place over medium heat. Add sandwiches, one at a time and cook until golden on both sides. Dust w/ powdered sugar and serve w/ maple syrup.
