  • 6 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    5 spice powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 tsp
    water
  • 1 c
    fresh bean sprouts
  • 1
    scallion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • hoisin sauce, to drizzle

How To Make asian eggs with bean spouts & hoisin glaze

    Whisk the eggs, oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, white pepper, and 5 spice together. Mix the cornstarch and water together and stir into the egg mixture.

    Stir in the bean sprouts and scallion white parts. Add the oil to a skillet. Add the egg mixture and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan. Once they start to set on the bottom, remove the pan from the heat and scramble the eggs to a soft scramble.

    Plate the eggs and top with the green parts of the scallion and drizzle with hoisin sauce.
