It's absolutely delicious. Something very nice to make when you have house guests as all of the work in done the night before. Don't forget about this for Christmas morning either. It's also nice to add squares of cream cheese into the topping for something really noteworthy.

1loaf french bread, cubed

6egg whites

3eggs

1 3/4 cskim milk

1 tspsugar

1 tspground cinnamon

1 tspvanilla extract

1/4 tspsalt

1(12 ounce) package frozen unsweetened mixed berries

1/2-2/3 crolled oats (optional)

2 Tbspbutter (cold)

1/3 cbrown sugar (packed)
How To Make mixed berry french toast bake

1Place bread cubes in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray.

2In a bowl, combine the egg whites, eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt; pour over bread.

3Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

4Thirty minutes before baking, remove the berries from the freezer, set aside, and remove the baking dish from the refrigerator.

5Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

6In a small bowl, cut butter into brown sugar until crumbly.

7Just before adding the mixed berries stir in the oats if using. Sprinkle berries and brown sugar mixture over french toast. Bake, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
