Ingredients For candied applewood bacon

  • 12 slice
    thick-cut applewood smoked bacon
  • 1/4 c
    honey mustard
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed dark brown sugar

How To Make candied applewood bacon

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil, Place a wire rack on pan. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place bacon on prepared rack in a single layer, brush tops with mustard. Sprinkle sugar evenly over mustard, pressing gently. Bake until browned, 25-30 minutes. Bacon does not get crispy. Makes 4 servings.
