1loaf challah bread (about 1 lb.) cut into cubes

2 cmilk

2 tspground cinnamon

1 Tbspvanilla extract

How To Make slow cooker apple french toast

1In a medium-sized skillet, melt the butter. Cook the apples, pecans, walnuts, brown sugar, and syrup in the butter for 10 minutes, stirring often. Place the apple mixture into a slow cooker.

2Place the bread in a large bowl; set aside.

3In a medium-sized bowl, combine the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and stir to coat. Add the bread mixture to the slow cooker and stir.

4Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Drizzle additional maple syrup on top, if desired.
