fresh laid steamed eggs (aka hard boiled)
I saw this little tip on facebook somewhere and just had to try it because I raise chickens and I hate having to wait 2 weeks to hard boil eggs! So, I messed with it, it took a few tries but for high altitude (I'm at 4199ft) 30 minutes is perfect! Note-pictures were taken of my eggs with my phone camera.

a pot & lid or steamer
How To Make fresh laid steamed eggs (aka hard boiled)

1Place the fresh eggs in the pot on a rack or steamer and add water, do not let water touch eggs cover with lid tightly, 30 minutes (at high altitude) after 30 minutes steaming toss into ice or very cold water to halt cooking process. Peel and eat!
