One of my Grams favorite ways of serving poached eggs. I love this easy, delicious recipe and serve on special occasions, such as Christmas. I hope you try it sometime, it sure beats just plain old poached eggs. Enjoy!

Ingredients For ~ creamy mushrooms over poached eggs & toast ~

1/2 lbmushrooms, large chopped

4 Tbspbutter
-
2 Tbspflour
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspeach - black pepper & paprika
-
1 tspworcestershire sauce
-
2 cmilk
-
6poached eggs
-
6 slicehot, toast
How To Make ~ creamy mushrooms over poached eggs & toast ~

1Saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter, until tender.

2Sprinkle with flour and seasonings, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Add milk & Worcestershire sauce and cook, stirring constantly. Boil for a couple minutes or until thickened.

3Poach eggs.

4Place egg on slice of hot toast.

5Cover over with sauce. Enjoy, it's delicious!
