This recipe was used to feed breakfast every Sunday morning for 2 years for the worship team in our church. It has been a staple in our home for guests and family alike. The beauty of this recipe is that it is easy and quick to prepare and you can easily adapt it to be different. Use bacon or add mushrooms or sauteed peppers. Place squares of the casserole on a biscuit for a hearty sandwich. It is up to you. We also love this recipe because it does not require bread, as many casseroles and stratas do. Enjoy.

Ingredients For breakfast delight casserole

  • 1 lb
    hot breakfast sausage
  • 12
    eggs
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp
    seasoning salt or to taste
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce or to taste
  • 1 dash
    black pepper to taste

How To Make breakfast delight casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Brown sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain.

    In a mixing bowl, blend the eggs, soup, cheese, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Add browned sausage.

    Pour into a 9 x 13 pan and bake until golden and the center is firm.
