Ingredients For sausage milk gravy

  • 1 lb
    pork sausage, browned (i like jimmy dean )
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 4 c
    milk ( i use whole milk or 2%)
  • salt & pepper to taste

How To Make sausage milk gravy

    Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir till smooth.

    Then Gradually stir in milk, stirring until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add drained sausage last. Serve with hot biscuits.

    NOTE: If you prefer your gravy thinner, add more milk till it has reached the consistency you want. I use an additional 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups, depending on your preferance.
